In a bizarre collaboration that challenges conventional predictions, Ubisoft has revealed an digital collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The unexpected holiday event continues from November 25 through December 22, providing free bonus story content for Shadows players.

According to the official announcement, "A mysterious confrontation leads heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh mission, where whispers of forbidden ceremonies and fearsome transformations echo through the obscurity." The narrative presents a "oddly garbed woman named Ada" who tasks the pair with traveling into the Gemstone Grotto—a key location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her friend from a clandestine sect.
The adventure concentrates on "peculiar experiments and a terrifying adversary" and is open to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.
Iconic Settings and Metamorphoses
The teaser features the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was previously where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through eras. The trailer concludes with a powerful sequence showing a character, likely the captive, changing into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.
